| Saturday's surf forecast called for 8 foot waves, and while they did reach that and higher, most were closeouts. Over at Venice Beach, both sides of the Breakwater saw the occasional good sets. With the south side going off at the crack of dawn, then dying down as the north side took over mid-morning. |  |
